Tonight's Rehearsal

There were some important announcements tonight at rehearsal.

Remember, next Sunday, please come to rehearsal with your ticket requirements for the show. Also, check the web site and the blog every day; Judy, Laurel and committee chairs will be posting information that you don't want to miss.

Committee assignments are still available for you or your friends and family. We will need some help with props, Chairman Mark Cox will be posting some of the needs. There is also a need for people to help with the actresses' hair prior to the performances. And, don't forget, everyone is a salesman!

New pictures are up on the slide show and will be after every rehearsal.

p.s. Don't forget to send in your bios.

More praise for Laurel Stachowicz

The Boston Globe had a review today about the Peter Pan production of the Wheelock Family Theater. The choreographer, of course, was the Dover Foundation's Laurel Stachowicz. The Globe said, "...the compelling rhythms remain; indeed, as acrobatically choreographed by Laurel Stachowicz, it's a snazzy showstopper.."

Read the review and go see the play; it runs until March 2. For more information, call
617-879-2300, or visit their web site, www.wheelock.edu/wft.

The Carousel Kick Off Party

In spite of more snow, slippery driving and dropping temperatures, a great crowd from the cast and crew descended on David and Becky Hamlin's home for a Kick Off to the Carousel production. Many thanks to all of those who brought food or beverages and special thanks to the Hamlins for opening their home to us.

As the pictures on the left show, anything and everything was worn to keep warm and dry.

Click to see pictures of the evening's festivities (then click the Slide Show button) and get ready for rehearsals!
