Set Construction Schedule
Hello All- Heather and I have put together a preliminary set building and painting schedule for Carousel. As you may know, the DS Middle School is in the theatre through this coming weekend with their spring production of Three One Act Plays, with performances on April 11th-12th. Because of this, Mudge Auditorium is unavailable to us until Monday April 14th, so we will be starting our tech work as follows:
Monday April 14th 6-9pm
Wednesday April 16th 6-9pm
Saturday April 19th 9am-4pm
Saturday April 26th 9am-4pm
Monday April 28th 6-9pm
Wednesday April 30th 6-9pm.
Saturday, May 3rd 9am-4pm Finish Up and Tech Rehearsal.
Please, everyone who has signed up for tech, respond as to your availability for as many of these sessions as you can make-many hands makes for light work! We've had great luck with parents and kids working together on stage so don't hesitate to make it a family affair.
The high school has recently purchased a full supply of tools but feel free to bring your favorite saw, hammer or screw gun, and please wear clothing that can get dirty or painted, and proper footwear.
Thanks in Advance.
Len and Heather

Schedule Update
To the Carousel Cast --- Everyone must assume that rehearsals will always be Sunday and Tuesday, and plan your lives around it!!!!! Here is the latest schedule, but as ever, is subject to change...Some scenes are pulling together faster than others, so we have to adjust sometimes. We'll be at the church on Easter Sunday, and will work around whoever can be there. As for the rest of the schedule, here goes:
Tuesday, March 25: Clambake, Geraniums in the Winder, Stonecutters.....I can work with those not in those scenes.
Sunday, March 30: Opening scene, followed by run-through of Act I from scene 2 on.
Tuesday, April 1: Rough run-through of Act II --- we need to find out what needs the most work. That includes Clambake, Billy's songs, Geraniums, Stonecutters, ballet & You'll Never Walk Alone....We'll do a lot of stumbling, but that's what we want to find out. Please get familiar with the plot, so you'll know where to come on, and when.
Sunday, April 6: We'll start with both finales, and then decide what from either act needs the most work.
Tuesday, April 8: 7 PM --Blow High, Blow Low. 8-9 TBA
Please note --- We may be rehearsing in the library at the Caryl School starting on March 30 --- check your email frequently for the announcement.
HAVE A HAPPY EASTER, AND MAY THE EASTER BUNNY SMILE ON US BY BRINGING SOME GOOD WEATHER FOR OUR EASTER BASKETS!!!! jUDY

More praise for Laurel Stachowicz
The Boston Globe had a review today about the Peter Pan production of the Wheelock Family Theater. The choreographer, of course, was the Dover Foundation's Laurel Stachowicz. The Globe said, "...the compelling rhythms remain; indeed, as acrobatically choreographed by Laurel Stachowicz, it's a snazzy showstopper.."Read the review and go see the play; it runs until March 2. For more information, call 617-879-2300, or visit their web site, www.wheelock.edu/wft.
